Terror cells working in India to fulfil Nathuram Godse’s dreams: Owaisi
He said minds are being polluted with communal hate. Even minor boys have been affected by this poison.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 21 April 2023 1:03 PM GMTHyderabad: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday claimed that terror cells are active in the country. The members of these cells were provided training in arms to fulfil the dreams of Nathuram Godse.
Addressing the Quran Day on the occasion of Juma-tul-Wida at the historic Makkah Masjid, Hyderabad, Owaisi expressed apprehensions that there may be another assassination attempt on him to eliminate him. However, he said he is not afraid as he believes that every living creature has to die one day. His aspiration is that he will get the honour of martyrdom so that he will not be ashamed before his parents on the day of resurrection.
‘Someone behind Ateeq Ahmed’s assassination'
The Hyderabad MP asked who is providing training to modules for these terror cells. He termed the assailants of Ateeq Ahmed and his brother as illegitimate descendants of Godse who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi. He questioned why UAPA was not applied against these members of terror cells who were raising the slogan of JSR before surrendering. He asked why the cops did not shoot them.
He said these assailants belonged to very poor families and that the mother of one of them lives in a hut while another assailant’s mother lives in a single room. The question is who provided them with imported sophisticated revolvers which cost Rs 8 lakhs each? he asked. It shows that there is someone behind the assassination of Ateeq and his brother, the AIMIM chief added and asked if Pradhan Sevak PM Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM will find those who are behind this assassination.
He also demanded that CM Yogi Aditya Nath expose the main culprit whose name was mentioned in the letter revealed by the slain Ateeq.
Owaisi expressed shock over the acquittal of all accused in the Naroda Gam massacre case in which 12 Muslims were burnt alive during the 2002 Gujarat riots. He wanted to know from PM Narendra Modi if the government will appeal against this judgment as he was the Chief Minister at that time. He listed many cases, including the Makkah Masjid blast, in which the accused persons were acquitted and the government did not challenge the verdicts of lower courts.
Owaisi demanded the state government table Justice Bhaskar Rao’s Commission Report on the police firing after the Makkah Masjid blast on 18 May 2007. The report was submitted to the then Chief Minister of AP, K. Rosaiah, in 2010. Five people died in the blast while nine were killed in the police firing.
‘Communal hate corrupting young minds’
He said minds are being polluted with communal hate. Even minor boys have been affected by this poison. In Indore, minor boys stripped another minor and forced him to raise the slogan of JSR. Who is bringing them on these lines? he asked.
