Tirupati laddu adulteration case: Jagan claims AP CM distorting facts after his ‘bluff’ called out

Guntur, Feb 4: Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy issued a stern warning to the CM Chandrababu-led government, stating that if Jungle Raj continues amid the deteriorating law and order situation, party cadre will hit back with equal measure and teach a fitting lesson.
‘CM Naidu bluff called out’
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday after consoling the family members of Ambati Rambabu, he said CM Chandrababu Naidu has been trying to distort facts after his bluff was called in the Tirupati Laddu adulteration case.
With Central laboratories giving a clean chit, the coalition government is now attempting a makeover by ordering yet another committee to probe the issue.
‘SIT chargesheet did not mention animal fat’
He pointed out that the Supreme Court-monitored CBI SIT chargesheet did not mention anywhere that animal fat was used in the laddu. Nor were the names of the TTD chairmen of that period or YSRCP members included in the chargesheet after the closure of the investigation.
With Chandrababu’s blatant lies being exposed by NDDB and NDRI laboratory reports, instead of repenting, he has resorted to diverting public attention by unleashing misinformation and putting up provocative posters across the state to malign political adversaries, right under the nose of the police.
‘Conspiracy to divert public attention from lab reports’
He said this was a conspiracy hatched by Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan to divert public attention away from the lab reports. Provocative posters targeting YSRCP leaders were deliberately erected to create unrest.
When leaders such as Ambati Rambabu, Jogi Ramesh, Vidadala Rajini, Kakani Govardhan Reddy and Bolla Brahmanandaidu questioned this misuse of power, cases were foisted against them, and TDP goons attacked the houses of Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh with lethal weapons.
While Ambati Rambabu bore the brunt of TDP hooliganism, cases were falsely booked against him, proving that Jungle Raj continues unabated in the state. “We will not take it lying low. In the coming days, we will explore all avenues and fight this with renewed vigour,” he said.
False cases
All those responsible for the attacks and the perpetrators will have to face the consequences in the coming days, he warned.
Listing out instances of false cases, he said Jogi Ramesh had nothing to do with the spurious liquor case, in which a TDP contestant was involved, yet he was falsely implicated. “When TDP leaders and their cadre are running the liquor mafia, how can Jogi Ramesh be involved?” he asked.
It was YV Subba Reddy who approached the Supreme Court against the lies spread by CM Chandrababu, and the CBI chargesheet has vindicated his stand, Jagan said.
Unable to digest this, the coalition government has unleashed a conspiracy. Even the police are part of it, he alleged, pointing out that senior officials stationed nearby failed to respond. “They did not even answer calls for help, clearly showing the attacks were orchestrated,” he said.
The heinous attacks carried out on the houses of Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh expose the guilt of those in power. Chandrababu has failed on all fronts, cheating every section of society. “If such provocative posters are put up again, he should hang his head in shame,” YS Jagan said.
