TPCC Treasurer Gudur Narayan Reddy resigned from Congress primary membership
On December 4, the TPCC president N uttam Kumar Reddy also resigned from his position.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 7 Dec 2020 7:57 AM GMTHyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Treasurer Gudur Narayan Reddy has resigned from his position, All India Congress Committee membership and primary membership of the congress party after Congress faced a debacle in the GHMC elections.
"As a disciplined soldier of Congress party since my student days in 1981 till this date, I have discharged my duties to the best of my abilities in whatever responsibility was assigned to me by the party. I gave my best performance as the AICC member and TPCC Treasurer in the most efficient and transparent manner," said Narayan Reddy.
"I am here resigning from the post of TPCC treasurer and AICC member and also from primary membership of the congress party with immediate effect," He added,
On December 4, the TPCC president N uttam Kumar Reddy also resigned from his position.
This move of the TPCC president has made the way for a new chief for the Congress in Telangana that has lost its shine. The name of Malkajgiri Parliamentarian A Revanth Reddy has been making rounds for a quiet sometime now.
The Congress has won two seats, namely in Uppal and A.S Rao Nagar, respectively in the GHMC Elections 2020.
