Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has once again provided insurance policies to its cadre.
The TRS has been providing insurance policies for its members for the past six years. It paid the insurance policy premium to United India Insurance Company for the seventh time this year.
The party has paid insurance premiums worth around Rs. 66 crores in seven years. This provision has helped the families of 7,000 party employees who passed away due to various incidents.
This insurance facility, which is paid for by the party, offers accident insurance to all TRS party cadres under 70. In the event of an accident or tragedy, Rs. 2 lakhs will be covered for whole disability and Rs. 50,000 for partial incapacity.
On Tuesday, TRS working president KTR handed the cheque for the premium to the insurance firm during a meeting at Pragati Bhavan. The meeting was attended by TRS secretary and former MLC Srinivas Reddy, party insurance affairs general secretary Soma Bharat, and others.
