Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP on Saturday postponed the 'Million March' that was scheduled to start from 16 November after the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) was imposed after the announcement of the MLC election in the state.

On 5 November, state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar had announced that the party would organize a 'Million March' with unemployed youth on 16 November demanding the state government issue job notifications.

"The party has decided to continue with the 'Million March' and the second installment of the 'Praja Sangram Yatra' after the expiry of the election code. We will be announcing the dates of Million March and the public campaign soon. We will continue to fight under the auspices of the BJP Telangana branch against the anti-people policies of the TRS government. Protests will continue until the government gives in," said Pradeep Kumar Dugyala, the BJP state general secretary.
