Welcome to TS but when will Centre clear its dues?: Kavitha poses questions to Amit Shah

Hyderabad: Ahead of Union Home minister Amit Shah's arrival in Hyderabad on Saturday, legislator K. Kavitha has posed a few questions to the minister. This comes after Telangana IT minister and TRS working president K.T Rama Rao tweeted a "question paper" – a list of questions – ahead of the minister's visit.

Kavitha took to Twitter to ask her questions and mounted a fresh attack on the Centre over its failed promises to Telangana. She tweeted, "Shri@AmitShah Ji welcome to Telangana!! please tell the people of Telangana when will the central government clear the following, Dues of Finance Comission Grants: Over Rs 3000 crores, Backward Region Grant: Rs 1350 crore, GST Compensation: Rs 2247 crore."

She also questioned him about inflation, unemployment, and communal riots.

She further tweeted, "Why did the Union Government ignore NITI Aayog's recommendation of Rs 24,000 Cr funds to Mission Kakatiya & Mission Bhagiratha that inspired the prestigious Central government scheme of Har Ghar Jal."

"Amit Shah ji, isn't it the sheer hypocrisy of the Union government to accord the National project status to Upper Bhadra project in Karnataka, Ken Betwa river linking project & denying the same for Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme & Kaleshwaram Project of Telangana?" the MLC tweeted.

On Friday, KTR, in an open letter to Mr. Shah, had posed 27 questions on Centre's failed promises and its discrimination towards Telangana.
