YSRCP MP Gorantla Madhav's objectionable video sparks controversy

Amaravati: A controversial video of Hindupur YSRCP MP Gorantla Madhav has gone viral on social media. On 4 August, a video of Madhav on a nude video call with a woman started doing the rounds of social media, creating a ruckus among political leaders and people of his constituency.

It may be noted that rape cases have been registered against the MP earlier. Meanwhile, the MP said the video is fake and claimed someone used a video of him taken at a gym and morphed it to show as if he was on a nude video call with a woman. He also released his workout video taken at the gym. Madhav blamed the opposition party leaders, saying they are involved in this conspiracy to defame him.

Soon after the video went viral, Opposition party leaders demanded the YSRCP MP's suspension. They asked Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy to immediately take action against him and suspend him. They also demanded an inquiry.
