Poonthota Ranganayaki promoting hatred against AP government: CID
By Newsmeter Network Published on 22 May 2020 3:36 AM GMTGuntur, May 21 : The Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department ( CID) on Thursday interrogated 66-year-old Poonthota Ranganayaki, who was arrested on charges of inciting hatred against Andhra Pradesh government by posting alleged 'objectionable' comments on Facebook.
CID personnel said Poonuthota Ranganayaki has been habitually trying to mislead the public about the government. CID quoted from her Facebook page wherein she has criticized the chief minister on many issues. The latest being the Styrene gas leak from LG Polymersā plant.

Officials said she intends to create disaffection against the democratically elected government by misleading social media posts.
Sources said when the investigating officer confronted Poonuthota Ranganayaki about the posts, she could not give any valid reason or answer.
