Positive news: 14 days later Nellore COVID-19 patient tested -Ve

Test reports of the SVIMS, Tirupati, confirmed the results on Saturday. The patient is an Italy returnee and was quarantined for 14 days in Government General Hospital.
Initially, medical and health officials had sent him to home quarantine for 3 days.
After observing dry cough and other slight symptoms, officials shifted him to the isolation ward at the GGH on March 8. His swabs were sent to the SVIMS, Tirupati, which initially confirmed interim positive. Subsequently, the National Institute of Virology, Pune, also confirmed it as a positive case
He has been under treatment at the isolation ward for last 14 days. Doctors sent the fresh samples to SVIMS which came back negative. Now, the district is having no positive case, said a doctor.
