PublicVibe launches 'Local Reporter' app for easy news video editing

According to the app developers, the new app will let the citizen reporters shoot, edit, add background and music, voiceover and produce a complete video in their smartphone.
Allam Narayana addressing the media said, "Local Reporter app is a perfect example of this change and disruption. It's amazing to see that with just a smartphone one can shoot, edit, and create a final news video within minutes using the Local Reporter app. This app will be of huge help to especially reporters working in rural areas." He promised that he would be training thousands of rural journalists through this app.
The app developers stated that through Local Reporter they aim to eliminate, a big team comprising of video editors, voiceover artistes, graphic artists and other technicians working on a single video. Instead, they aim to target grassroots level reporters to make their reporting easy.
Speaking at the launch event, CEO of Public Vibe V Narasimha Reddy said, "We have developed Local Reporter app after receiving a large number of requests from reporters working at ground level for a simple app to report news on their own and after taking feedback from citizen reporters from all over India. By using the Local Reporter app, anyone can shoot and create their news video within just 5 minutes, and it is completely free of cost."
The app is available in Playstore and comprises of nine languages, English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and others.
