Hyderabad: Punjagutta police sealed two massage parlours after they were allegedly found involved in the illegal sex trade in Hyderabad.

Acting on specific inputs, police raided 'Lotus Family Salon’ at Panjagutta and 'Tenzzer Wellness Spa & Beauty Salon’ at Srinagar Colony and found that they were involved in the sex trade under the guise of spas.

Police sealed both the centers and seized equipment and other material. Police also registered a case against their management and started the investigation.

Police sources said the massage parlours had employed women on attractive pay packet for providing spa services to the customers. Instead, they pushed them into the sex trade. Police said women employees were not paid a full salary as promised by the management.

Police sources said when cops requested B Komal Rathore of Lotus Family Salon center to show business license, customer register and other details she refused to cooperate and resisted their entry into the premises.

Later cops found that the Salon neither had a professional therapist, nor qualified doctors or physiotherapists. The Salon was neither maintaining customer register nor was having transparent cabin doors. Cops also found that the DVR of CCTVs were not maintained properly.

Police sources said P. Vinay and Pabada Tannisha of Tenzzer Wellness Spa & Beauty Salon were forcing female workers to provide cross massage to the customers.
