Director Puri Jagannadh is not only known for his dynamic projects but also his generosity. Puri has been a darling director, ready to extend his support to the movie industry in any way possible. Senior actress Rama Prabha had mentioned that Puri has been very helpful to artists and technicians who are in trouble.

After making a decent collection from their recent hit iSmart Shankar, Puri and Charmme Kaur has decided to give it back to the movie industry in their way. As it is the director’s birthday tomorrow, Puri and Charmme released a press note revealing that they will contribute to the welfare for directors and assistant directors as much as they can.

“Luckily, Puri Connects LLP has bagged a super hit with iSmart Shankar this year. So, we have decided to contribute a part of the profit. We have seen successes and failures. We know how it feels to be in this field and not be able to get any projects or work. Hereby, we decide to contribute an amount to provide financial aid to twenty directors and assistants who are struggling for work. In the hope that our assistance would give them a life, we are planning to take this programme forward, if our financial position allows us to do so,” the press note said.
