Hyderabad: Gajularamaram Village Revenue Officer(VRO) files police complaint against Quthbullapur MLA KP Vivekananda for using castiest slur

VRO of Gajularamaram village G Shyam Kumar has filed a police complaint against Quthbullapur MLA KP Vivekananda for allegedly using castiest slur and threatening him with dire consaquences .

In his complaint at Malkajgiri police station, Shyam Kumar sought a case to be registered against Vivekananda under relevant sections of IPC and SC/ST atrocities act.

Shyam Kumar stated on October 3 as per the instructions of his superiors, he and his staff under the police protection demolished illegally constructed five rooms, three huts, and a cattle shed erected overnight on government land located at Survey no 79 in Gajularamaram village.

On October 4, Vivekananda called up Shyam Kumar on his mobile phone and used abusive and filthy language. Further knowing his caste, Vivekananda allegedly threatened him with dire consequences for carrying out demolition of illegal structures, he said.

Shyam Kumar demanded action against Vivekananda for not only abusing a government servant but also under SC/ST act for caste slur.

Malkajgiri police have given an acknowledged the complaint. However, no case has been registered yet.
