Rachakonda Police arrests two men for looting their own house
By Renoj Roy Published on 7 Jan 2020 2:53 PM GMTHyderabad: The Rachakonda Police has arrested two people for looting their own house on Tuesday (January 7) in Hyderabad. The officers of Adibatla police station recovered Rs. 2,88,000 and other stolen property.
According to the police, the main accused Velupu Edwin Moses is a rowdy sheeter and is involved in various cases. He along with his driver Boda Naveen broke into Mosesās house on January 5. They entered the house from the back door and stole an amount of Rs. 2,88,000 and 10 Tulas of Gold ornaments. Moses had sent his wife and children to attend a family function before committing the theft.
The accused Moses has previously been involved in 14 cases including murder, attempt to murder, theft and extortion. Another accused Naveen has earlier been involved in 3 cases of theft and house-bream.
The police has seized the stolen property (Rs.2,88,000 and 10 Tulas of Gold ornaments) along with 2 Swords and a Scooty.
The accused is charged under Section 380(Theft in dwelling house) and Section 457(House-breaking by night in order to commit offence) of IPC and Section 27(3)(uses any prohibited arms and such use or act results in the death of any other person)
