Rajinikanths Darbar reaches Rajasthan; music album to be out in November

The success of Petta has made Rajinikanth fans eagerly wait for his next movie Darbar. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the cast and crew of this film are now in Jaipur to shot a song sequence. This number will feature Nayanthara and Rajinikanth together and is said to be a peppy number.

If this is not enough news for fans, the music composer of the movie, Anirudh Ravichander, announced that Darbar's album will be out in November. The composer revealed that the Darbar album will be released towards the end of November and he is as excited as the fans for the release of the songs.

Darbar will be Anirudh Ravichander's second film with Rajinikanth. His first was Petta and the young musician churned out some chartbusters like Marana Mass and Ullaallaa. SP Balsubrahmanyam had recorded for the introduction song for Rajinikanth in the movie. We hear that the introduction song is about commoners praising cop Rajinikanth for helping them and Rajinikanth replies saying that it is his duty.

A major portion of the movie was shot in Mumbai and is shaping up well. Touted to be a racy entertainer, Darbar has Nayanthara playing in the female lead. The movie has been bankrolled by Lyca Productions and has a host of stars in the cast. Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas, Dalip Tahil, Yogi Babu and Jatin Sarna will be seen in pivotal characters. Cinematography is by Santosh Sivan and editing is by Sreekar Prasad.

Darbar is Rajiniā€™s 167th film and the actor will be seen playing the role of a cop. Murugadoss, who had previously directed Vijay in Sarkar, has joined hands with Rajinikanth for the first time. After Darbar, Rajinikanth will be joining hands with director Siva of Vedalam and Viswasam fame for his next. Darbar is scheduled to release for Pongal 2020.
