Rangareddy health officer asks all doctors, medical practitioners to shut down clinics

Hyderabad: As the total number of Corona virus cases in the country is on the rise with Telangana reporting 70 cases, including one death, the government has been taking all precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. Amidst this, the Rangareddy district health and medical officer has asked all doctors and registered and private medical practitioners in the district to close their clinics, diagnostics, and first-aid centres with immediate effect. Action will be taken against them if they fail to do so. The order applies to all antenatal clinics and obstetricians have been instructed to attend only emergency labour cases.

Meanwhile, the state received some good news after 11 of the 70 COVID-19 patients tested negative in recent tests. They will be discharged soon.
