Ravi Teja hints at a sequel for ‘Disco Raja’

The pre- release event of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film ‘Disco Raja’ was held in Hyderabad on Sunday. ‘Mass Maharaja’ as he his popularly called gave an energetic speech much to the delight of his fans. During his speech, the ace actor hinted at a sequel for the film. “If everything goes well, we will come up with a sequel or prequel to the film” he said. Ravi Teja who looked confident with the outcome of the film went on to thank the cast and crew of the film and assured the audience that the film will thoroughly entertain them.
Ravi Teja was all praises for his co-star Bobby Simha with whom he shared the screen space for the first time. The teaser has already struck a chord among the audience where Ravi Teja was at his usual self with his inimitable style and swag all over it. The film set up in 80’s will see Ravi Teja as a gangster who enjoys disco music. Ravi Teja also made a special mention of cinematographer Kartik Ghattamaneni who left no stone unturned to re-create the era.
Music composer SS Thaman who is on a high with the success of ‘Ala Vaikuntapurramulo’ has composed the music for the film. Interestingly, Ravi Teja has also crooned for a song ‘Rum Pum Bum’ along with Bappi Lahiri for this film which is penned by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry. The actor has previously sung in his movies ‘Balupu’ and ‘Power’ which were also composed by Thaman.
Touted to be a Sci-fi thriller, the film stars Nabha Natesh, Payal Rajput and Tanya Hope in prominent roles along with actors Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Satya among others. The movie which is directed by VI Anand has dialogues written by Abburi Ravi and is being produced by Ram Talluri under SRT Entertainments. The movie is slated to release on January 24.
