3 doctors, 2 postgraduates, 5 graduates among 14 new faces in Jagan's Cabinet

Among the 14 new ministers, three hold Ph.Ds, two are postgraduates, five hold Bachelors degrees, three have completed intermediate, and one has completed class 10.

Amaravati: Twenty-five Cabinet ministers were sworn in by Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan on Monday during a ceremony held at the Secretariat in Amaravati. Out of the 25, 14 are new faces.

The newly-inducted MLAs are Gudivada Amarnath, Budi Mutyala Naidu, Dadisetti Raja, Rajanna Dora Peedika, Dharmana Prasada Rao, Jogi Ramesh, Ambati Rambabu, Merugu Nagarjuna, Vidadala Rajini, Kottu Satyanarayana, Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao, RK Roja, Kakani Govardhana Reddy, and K.V Ushasri Charan.

Educational qualifications of the new ministers

Among the 14 new ministers, three hold Ph.Ds, two are postgraduates, five hold Bachelors degrees, three have completed intermediate, and one has completed class 10.




Gudivada Amarnath

Gudivada Amarnath is an MLA from the Anakapally constituency. He was elected in 2019. He is a BTech graduate.

Budi Mutyala Naidu

Budi Mutyala Naidu, a farmer by profession, has been a member of the AP Legislative Assembly twice, from 2014-19 and 2019-present. He is an MLA from the Madugula constituency in Visakhapatnam and has also held the position of government Whip in 2019. He has completed his intermediate education.

Dadisetti Ramalingeswara Raja

Dadisetti Ramlingeswara Raja is an MLA from Tuni in the East Godavari district. He has completed his BA and is a businessman. He has been a member of the AP Legislative Assembly twice, from 2014-19 and from 2019-present. He has also served as the government Whip in 2019.

Rajanna Dora Peedika

Rajanna Dora Peedika is an MLA from Salur in the Vizianagaram district. He has a Master's degree (MA) and is a farmer. He has worked on tribal welfare and has held various positions in organisations like Committee on Welfare and Scheduled Tribes and AP Girijan Co-operative Corporation.

Dharamana Prasada Rao

Dharmana Prasada Rao, an MLA from Srikakulam, has served as the roads and buildings minister and the revenue minister. He has completed intermediate education.

Jogi Ramesh

Jogi Ramesh is an MLA from Pedana who holds a B.Sc (Politics) degree. He has also been a member of the AP Legislative Assembly twice, from 2014-19 and 2019-present.

Ambati Rambabu

Ambati Rambabu, an MLA from Sattenapalli in Guntur, holds a bachelor's degree. He has also been an MLA twice.

Merugu Nagarjuna

Merugu Nagarjuna, an MLA from the Vemuru constituency in Guntur, holds a doctorate degree and is among the most-highly qualified ministers. He has completed M.Com, M.Phil, and Ph.D.

Vidadala Rajini

Vidadala Rajani is an MLA from Chilkalurpet in Guntur. She holds an MBA degree.

Kottu Satyanarayana

Kottu Satyanarayana is an MLA from the Tadepalligudem constituency in the West Godavari district. He has completed his intermediate and is a businessman.

Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao

Karamuri Venkata Nageswara Rao, an MLA from Tanuku constituency in West Godavari, has completed class 10. He is a businessman and has been a member of the Legislative Assembly twice.

R.K Roja

R.K Roja is an MLA from Nagari in Chittoor and holds a B.Sc degree. She is a businesswoman and takes a special interest in serving the poor.

Kakani Govardhana Reddy

Kakani Govardhana Reddy is an MLA from the Sarvepalli constituency in Nellore. He has completed his MA and Ph.D. He is a farmer and has held the post of Zilla Parishad chairman of Sri Potti Sriramulu (SPSR) Nellore district.

K.V Ushasri Charan

K.V Ushasri Charan, an MLA from the Kalyandurg constituency of Anantapur, has completed her M.Sc and Ph.D.
