38 MSME units worth Rs 25,256 crore opened at new industrial park in Kanigiri by CM Naidu
The Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated and laid the foundations for 1,597 MSME units.

Kanigiri: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the MSME park at Peda Erlapadu village of Kanigiri constituency in Prakasam district on Tuesday.
38 MSME units set up at a cost of Rs 25,256 crore
He also laid the foundations and inaugurated 49 MSME parks virtually. The parks were developed at a cost of Rs 873 crore.
The Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated and laid the foundations for 1,597 MSME units. As many as 38 MSME units set up at a cost of Rs 25,256 crore were inaugurated. Later, the Chief Minister interacted with entrepreneurs of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Anakapalli, Kurnool, Anantapur and Chittoor districts.
Encouraging innovation among youth
He said Andhra Pradesh has been attracting investments in a big way after the NDA government came to power. He appealed to the youth to come up with innovative ideas and the State government will extend assistance to set up industrial units. He said plug-and-play systems will be developed in industrial parks of 175 constituencies.
The Chief Minister said during the CII partnership summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15, the State government will sign MoUs for Rs 10 lakh crore to provide employment opportunities to eight lakh people.
Brand image of Andhra Pradesh
He said the State government is committed to the one family-one entrepreneur norm. He said the NDA government is successful in reestablishing the brand image of Andhra Pradesh, resulting in attracting huge investments.
He said utilising the services of Rata Tata Innovation Hub entrepreneurs will be promoted and asked the youth to come forward to become entrepreneurs, as vast opportunities are available in horticulture, aquaculture and service sectors. He said a target was set to achieve a 15 per cent growth rate.
The Chief Minister said water will be released through the Veligonda project by next year. With the release of water, drought-prone areas such as Kanigiri, Yerragondapalem, Giddalur, and Markapuram will benefit. He said a stable government is essential for continuous development.
