Amaravati: Declaring that Andhra Pradesh has entered a phase of recovery and renewal after years of uncertainty, Governor S Abdul Nazeer on Monday said the State is regaining economic confidence and administrative direction, as he addressed the first-ever Republic Day celebrations in the capital city of Amaravati.
Historic Tricolour hoisting in Amaravati
Calling the occasion historic, the Governor said the National Flag was hoisted in Amaravati for the first time, marking a renewed beginning for the State.
He recalled that for several years, Andhra Pradesh lacked clear direction, with the capital project stalled, investor confidence shaken and financial stability weakened due to policy discontinuity.
From uncertainty to stability
Despite the challenges, the Governor said the government worked steadily and without fanfare to restore stability. Discipline, resilience and faith in collective purpose, he noted, helped the State regain momentum.
“Projects are moving forward, institutions are regaining strength and public trust is being rebuilt. The journey of recovery and transformation has begun,” he said.
Swarna Andhra 2047 Vision
The Governor said the government’s long-term roadmap is anchored in the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision, aimed at building a strong, inclusive and globally competitive State by the centenary of India’s Independence.
This vision, he said, is guided by Padi Sutralu—10 core principles of governance.
