Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath presented the State budget in the Assembly on Friday.

The government presented a budget with an estimated expenditure of Rs 2,256,56 crore. Revenue expenditure is at Rs 2,08,261 crore and capital expenditure is at Rs 47,996 crore.

Here are the budget allocation highlights:

Social Service Sector: Total for social service sectors: Rs. 1,13,340.20 crores (in total budget 44. 23 percent has been allocated)

Education: Rs. 30, 077 crores

Housing: Rs. 4,791.69 crores

Labor and Employment: Rs. 1,033.86 crores

Medicine: Rs. 15, 384.26 crores

Social Security and Welfare: Rs. 4,331. 85 crores

Sports, Youth: Rs. 140.48 crores

Technical Education: Rs. 413.5 crores

Urban Development: Rs. 8,796 crores

Drinking water, sanitation: Rs. 2, 133.63 crores

Welfare: Rs. 45,955 crore

General services: Rs. 73, 609.63 crores
