Andhra Pradesh: Here is how children above 15 can register for vaccination
Beneficiaries can self-register online through an existing account on Co-WIN or by creating a new account through a mobile number. Online registrations will be made available from 1 January 2022.

On Thursday, a circular was issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) asking all District Collectors, Joint Collectors, District Medical and Health Officials (DMHOs) of Andhra Pradesh, to administer Covaxin to children between 15-18 years of age.
As per the circular by MOH&FW, all those aged 15 years or more will be able to register on Co-WIN. Beneficiaries can self-register online through an existing account on Co-WIN or by creating a new account through a mobile number. Online registrations will be made available from 1 January 2022. Beneficiaries can also register directly at the vaccination center.
Health care workers and front-line workers who have got two doses will be administered with another dose (booster dose) of the COVID-19 vaccine from 10 January 2022. The prioritization and sequencing of this precaution dose would be based on the completion of 9 months i.e. 39 weeks from the date of administration of the second dose.
All persons aged 60 years and above with comorbidities, who have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, will be provided with a precaution dose from 10 January 2022. The prioritization and sequencing of this precaution dose would be based on the completion of 9 months i.e. 39 weeks from the date of administration of the second dose.
All persons aged 60 years and above with co-morbidities will not be required to produce/submit any certificate from the doctor, at the time of administration of the precaution dose. Those persons are expected to obtain the advice of their doctor before deciding to avail of the precaution dose.
All the citizens irrespective of their income status are entitled to free Covid19 vaccination at government vaccination centers.
