AP: Chief Secretary Jawahar Reddy reviews arrangements for PM Modi’s visit on Jan 16 to Palasamudram

Amaravati: Ahead of prime minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh on January 16, chief secretary to the AP Government KS Jawahar Reddy reviewed the arrangements on Saturday.

PM Modi is scheduled to visit Palasamudram in Sri Satyasai district on Tuesday to inaugurate development projects. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Palasamudram on January 16 and in connection with this chief secretary KS Jawahar Reddy reviewed the arrangements with the officials concerned,” said a press release from the departments concerned.

While discussing the details such as the venue, the chief secretary directed officials to make all the necessary and extensive arrangements, especially ensuring security.

According to preliminary information, Modi would reach Palasamudram on Tuesday afternoon to participate in the scheduled programme and return in the evening. Governor S Abdul Nazeer and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are also expected to attend the programme.
