AP to get another three ISO containers, 110 MT of oxygen from Centre
Following Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy's letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding increasing the allocation of medical oxygen to Andhra Pradesh, the Centre has allotted three ISO containers and 110 MT of liquid oxygen from Jamnagar Reliance to the state.

Vijayawada: Following Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy's letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding increasing the allocation of medical oxygen to Andhra Pradesh, the Centre has allotted three ISO containers and 110 MT of liquid oxygen from Jamnagar Reliance to the state.
Explaining the details, senior IAS officer M.T Krishna Babu who is monitoring the supply and storage of oxygen, said an Oxygen Express with two cryogenic containers each carrying 20 MT of liquid oxygen has started from Durgapur. The train will reach Krishnapatnam port in Nellore district on Saturday.
He said the Central government has allocated an additional three ISO containers which will be handed over at Durgapur on Saturday afternoon. Another train with 60 MT of liquid oxygen will start from Durgapur on Saturday evening and will reach Nellore within 24 hours.
These two trains will run in the opposite direction to ensure assured supply of 60 MT per day to Rayalaseema districts and Nellore.
Mr. Krishna Babu said that one train carrying six ISO containers and 110 MT of liquid oxygen from Jamnager Reliance will reach Guntur's Concor station on Saturday night.
