Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said the state government will move the apex court seeking to lift the stay order on the distribution of house site pattas at certain locations. He hopes that the judgement will be in favour of the government and every poor family gets a house site.
The chief minister said that on the auspicious occasion of Christmas and Vaikunta Ekadasi coming together he is happy that the government is keen on distributing house site pattas.
The chief minister said it is unfortunate that some obtained a stay on the distribution of house pattas in Pulivendula claiming that the land belonged to the APIIC. He said that even the APIIC land belonged to the government and it would be beneficial to industries if houses were constructed for the poor on these lands.
The chief minister asserted that the government would move Supreme Court for lifting the stay order on the distribution of house site pattas and ensure that every poor family gets a house.
