Arogya Manthan 2022: AP only state to win 6 national awards

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh won six national-level awards at Arogya Manthan 2022 which was held in New Delhi on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and the first anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).

ABDM is one of the flagship schemes of the government being implemented by the department of health, medical, and family welfare, Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with the National Health Authority (NHA).

Special secretary (health) G. Naveen Kumar said Andhra Pradesh is the only state in the country to win six awards at the national-level Arogya Manthan. "These historic achievements pave the way and work as a great booster for greater adoption of digital health platforms and services across the state of Andhra Pradesh," he said.

The awards were given in these four categories—state that linked the highest number of health records to ABDM (first), districts that linked the highest number of health records to ABDM (first, second, third), 100% health facility registration of public health facilities, and best government health record integrator.
