Tirumala: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is gearing up to celebrate 'Brahmotsavam' on a grand scale from September 27 to October 5.
TTD executive officer (EO) AV Dharma Reddy inspected the various entry and exit points in the four Mada streets along with the TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Narasimha Kishore on Thursday.
'Brahmotsavam' is being celebrated on a grand scale post-COVID-19 pandemic. Heavy turn out of pilgrims is being anticipated. EO urged the pilgrims to have hassle-free darshan with patience and extend their cooperation to TTD. "We are all set to celebrate the festival in a big way this year. Last two years, Brahmotsavams were observed in Ekantam inside the temple due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. But this year we are expecting a huge crowd for all the vahana sevas", he said.
To ensure no inconvenience is caused to the multitude of visiting pilgrims, the vigilance and district collector and police have inspected the four Mada streets and galleries and made necessary arrangements. Officials visited the Ragi Manu area. It will act as a buffer zone to house pilgrims on the day of Garuda Seva, which is scheduled to be held on October 1.
