CM Naidu: Amaravati should be City of Artificial Intelligence
He stated that Amaravati is the ‘capital of the Gods’ which the previous government had totally damaged by treating it in a very bad manner

The chief minister directed the officials to design the Amaravati logo in English giving prominence to the first letter (A) and the last letter (I) which will evoke the word ‘Artificial Intelligence’ at first glance.
“The capital should be built in such a way that that technology is available in every corner,” CM Chandrababu said in a meeting with the officials of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) and Ponguru Narayana, minister for Municipal Administration.
He stated that Amaravati is the ‘capital of the Gods’ which the previous government had totally damaged by treating it in a very bad manner.
‘Speed up capital’s construction’
There is every need to revive the works in the capital at a fast pace, the CM said.
The officials informed Chandrababu that the construction of the CRDA office building is yet to see completion even after five years under the previous YSRCP government.
The chief minister directed the officials to complete the construction of the building in the next 90 days and said that they should not compromise on the quality of the construction and encouraged the use of the latest technology.
‘Revive Happy Next project’
CM Naidu said that the previous government had also ignored the ‘Happy Next’ project, initiated in 14 acres for those who want to live in the capital area.
Recalling that the plots of the project were sold out in just an hour during the TDP regime, the officials told CM Chandrababu that since the previous government had neglected it, the buyers had gone back. Chandrababu directed the officials to immediately initiate steps to revive the project.
‘Farmers will give land for capital region’
Maintaining that 3,558 acres are pending acquisition in the capital area, the chief minister said that the farmers are willing to give up their lands and asked the officials to clear any pending hurdles about allotting new plots to the farmers.
The officials also informed CM Chandrababu that 60 per cent of the jungle clearance works are complete in the capital region and the chief minister told them to use drones for assessing and supervising the jungle clearance works.
‘Complete metro rail works in Vizag in 4 years’
CM Chandrababu ordered the officials to complete the metro rail works in Visakhapatnam within four years.
Ramakrishna Reddy, MD of the AP Metro Rail Project, informed Chandrababu that the Visakhapatnam metro rail works will be completed in two phases; 46 km in the first phase with Rs 11,400 crores expenditure and the second phase involving 30 km with Rs 5,734 crores.
Similarly, the CM also directed the officials to accelerate the Vijayawada metro rail works, being taken up with a budget of Rs 11,000 crores for 38 km of rail work.
