Worried about their symptoms, many are immediately getting RT-PCR tests done. However, doctors said that many only have flu during this winter season.
COVID-19 among teachers
A few days after schools re-opened in the state, many teachers and principals are testing positive for COVID-19. In the last two days, five teachers, including the principal of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) High School at Allipuram in Visakhapatnam district tested COVID-positive. The administration immediately shut down the school. A similar situation was seen among teachers in rural and urban areas in the state.
