Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh crossed 14k in the daily number of COVID-19 cases and reported 14,440 new cases in the last 24 hours on Sunday. This is probably for the first time that the state has crossed 14k positive cases in a single day during the third wave of the pandemic this year.

The number of increasing COVID cases in the state is likely showing a sign of the third wave pandemic situation. According to sources, there are many COVID-19 cases that are not reported to the Health Department of the Andhra Pradesh government. The majority of those who are taking self Covid tests are failing to upload the details on the concerned website if they are tested positive.
