`Cyber Policing Best Practices Meet': Addl DGP Sunil Kumar, SP cybercrimes Radhika win awards

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) bagged two Awards in 'Cyber Policing Best Practices Meet 3.0' held virtually on Sunday.

Additional DGP CID PV Sunil Kumar has been given Lifetime Achievement Award in the 3rd National conclave on Best cyber practices organized jointly by the Center for Research on Cyber Intelligence & Digital Forensics (CRCIDF), Information Security Education & Awareness (ISEA), Cyber Peace Foundation(CPF), International Justice Mission(IJM) & ProDiscover.

Another award was won by GR Radhika, SP Cybercrimes, AP CID. She got Cyber Star Award for the best cyber practices, capacity building, and strategies in cybercrimes. This Award is given for the recognition of their Services in Cyber policing and innovative solutions for cyber safety.

PV Sunil Kumar has started his career as a probationer in Warangal and worked in all tough places like Pulivendula of Kadapa district, Adilabad, Medak, and Warangal. As Superintendent of Police Medak, he made his district police office the first one to receive ISO 9001 Certification for process streamlining and people-centric working style. As Managing Director AP Police Housing Corporation, he increased the turnover from Rs 200 Crores to Rs 1800 Crores in mere two years.

AP CID Cybercrime wing has created the highest number of cyber safe logins in India for all the Law Enforcement officers. The innovative concepts of Cyber Bully sheets, 4S4U Portal, Fact check, APCID YouTube webinars are all designed by ADGP CID, PV Sunil Kumar IPS and are being implemented by APCID Cyber staff.

These innovative practices and capacity-building programs are duly recognized by the Jury team.
