Dalit physiotherapist hacked to death for marrying girlfriend of another caste at Adoni
A 30-year-old Dalit physiotherapist was brutally murdered allegedly by his wife's family at Adoni Town in Kurnool district on Thursday.

Kurnool: A 30-year-old Dalit physiotherapist was brutally murdered allegedly by his wife's family at Adoni Town in Kurnool district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Adam Smith. As per reports, Smith married his girlfriend Maheswari around six months ago at Arya Samaj in Hyderabad.
Both belonged to different castes and parents of the girl were not happy with her relationship with a Dalit youth.
For the past few months, the newly married couple was staying at Krishtappa Nagar in Adoni Town. The girl's parents and relatives had stopped speaking to her for marrying a Dalit.
When Smith was returning home, some people intercepted his bike near RTC Colony and attacked him with iron rods. They smashed Smith's head with a boulder and fled from the spot.
Smith's wife blamed her parents for the brutal murder of her husband as they were not in favor of the marriage.
Police have registered a case and an investigation is on to identify the accused. Police are interrogating few people in connection with the murder.
