Visakhapatnam: A decomposed body of a 35 to 40-year-old woman was found in the bathroom of a house in Bapujinagar under Kancharapalem police station limits in Vizag. The incident came to light when the neighbors, unable to bear an overpowering stench from the small house, alerted its owner and the police. The house was locked from the outside. The police opened the door using duplicate keys and found a woman dead in the bathroom.

The owner of the house, G Satyavathi, said that two youngsters, Rajesh and his friend, from Odisha, rented the house three months ago. The youngsters claimed that they have been working at Vizag Port and would go to work in the morning and return in the evening.

As the tenants didn't turn up for the past three days and the house was locked from the outside, the police suspect that the woman might have been murdered. The police shifted the body to the morgue for post-mortem and launched a hunt to nab the two youngsters from Odisha.
