He said Raghurama had approached TDP and BJP seeking respite from those cases.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 8 April 2021 5:57 AM GMTAmaravati: YSRCP MP Nandigam Suresh has appealed to Lok Sabha Speaker to disqualify Narasapuram MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju for violating the party discipline and making wild allegations against chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said Raghurama Krishnam Raju had indulged in violation of party discipline under the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution of India and stern action should be taken against him. He said that the party shall suspend him in case the speaker fails to take action.
MP Suresh said Raghurama has no moral right to speak on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's cases since he is being probed by CBI and ACB. He said Raghurama had approached TDP and BJP seeking respite from those cases.
He said that Raghurama had defrauded the banks of thousands of crores and no one can save him from getting jailed, which is why he is hiding in Delhi without even visiting his own constituency. MP Suresh said Raghurama is unnecessarily blaming the state government citing conspiracy to attack him.
MP Suresh said Chief Minister is being treated like Lord Rama, which is why people gave a tremendous mandate to him in recent local body elections. MP Suresh challenged Raghurama to resign taking moral responsibility. He said that a section of the media published articles on Raghurama's petition, but they ignored the fact that the petition was dismissed in the evening.
