Hyderabad: Devireddy Srinath Reddy, a veteran journalist and former Press Academy Chairman, has left us, and with his passing, a void has been created that is hard to fill.
Recollecting his association with Srinath, D Siva Rami Reddy, Supreme Court of India Advocate on Record (AOR), said, āSrinath was a master of his craft, a wordsmith who could paint pictures with his prose and move hearts with his stories. He was a beacon of truth in a world that often succumbs to falsehoods, a lighthouse that guided us through the stormy seas of life.ā
He said that like a tree that has been felled, his absence leaves a barren landscape where once there was lush greenery. He was a pillar of strength, a rock that we could lean on in times of need. He was a steady hand that guided us through the tumultuous waters of life, always there to lend an ear and offer a helping hand.
Srinath was a man full of principles, a shining example of integrity and honesty in a world that often rewards deceit and corruption. He was a champion of the oppressed, a voice for the voiceless, and a defender of the downtrodden.
In his condolence message, Siva Rami Reddy further said that his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him, a testament to the power of the written word and the importance of standing up for what is right. We mourn his passing, but we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on through the work he has left behind.
To his family, we offer our deepest condolences. May they find solace in the memories they have of Srinath, and may they find comfort in the knowledge that he touched so many lives in his time with us.
Rest in peace, Srinath. You will be sorely missed.
