Video: Ganapavaram circle inspector dies of cardiac arrest playing badminton

By Newsmeter Network Published on 24 March 2021 5:41 AM GMTWest Godavari: A 45-year-old police inspector died of cardiac arrest when he was playing badminton with his friends at Ganapavaram in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday night.
Identified as D Bhagvan Prasad, he was posted as Circle Inspector at Ganapavaram for the past one year.
The CCTV footage at the Badminton court clearly shows that he collapsed on the court when he was playing Badminton.

Though his friends and colleagues tried their best to save his life, the police officer lost his final breath.
Police said that Prasad lied down on the court after suffering from chest pain during a badminton match.
He was rushed to nearby hospital but he breathed his last en route.
Doctor at the hospital confirmed his death due to cardiac arrest.
Health Minister Alla Nani, Eluru Range DIG Mohan Rao, SP Nayak and other police officials have condoled the death of Prasad. The CCTV footage has captured CI collapsing on the ground in the shuttle court.
