He said the government should give details about the properties of churches in the state.

He said the government should give details about the properties of churches in the state. He said the government has all the records of Hindu temples in the state.
Addressing a press conference in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, Veerraju said he would submit a report to the central government on the churches shortly.
"AP churches have assets worth thousands of crores and yet the state government is extending financial assistance to build new ones,'' Veerraju said.
He noted that Christians comprise just one percent of the state's population. "Many have been enjoying the reservation by retaining their Hindu names, though the Supreme Court had rejected the concept of Dalit Christians," he pointed out.
Veerraju questioned whether the government was giving monthly remuneration to the pastors for religious conversions?
He said YSRCP has been trying to weaken Hinduism in the state. The BJP leader said not a single case has been filed regarding the attacks on the temples.
Demanding immediate dismissal of DGP Gautam Sawang for holding BJP leaders responsible for the destruction of the temples, Veerraju said the top cop was behaving like a politician without substantiating his allegations.
