Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy called for imparting quality education through digital medium and said all classrooms should be equipped with the necessary infrastructure. He held a review meeting on Friday and took a few key decisions regarding digital education.
Through digital education, students can obtain knowledge through interactive displays and smart teaching facilities. The CM inspected the equipment of various companies that are to be set up in government schools across the state. Education department officials were directed to ensure that the projectors and interactive TVs are of good quality. Smart TVs will be installed from PP-1 to class II and projectors from class III onwards in all schools that are refurbished under Nadu-Nedu phase I.
Vacant posts to be filled
Jagan asked the officials to immediately fill the vacant posts, including that of DEO and MEO, in the education department besides focusing on filling up posts in SCERT, DIET senior lecturers, and DIET lecturers.
