Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated slew of development projects in the city.

Chief Minister inaugurated the newly developed Sea Harrier Museum by VMRDA at RK Beach Road.

The museum will feature Sea Harrier, a fighter plane that was decommissioned by the Indian Navy. It has been brought from Goa.

All the artifacts in the museum will give a detailed presentation of the history of this fighter plane to the visitors. This will be an additional attraction for tourists on Beach Road, after INS Kursura Submarine Museum and TU-142 Aircraft Museum

Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of former Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy at Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, PM Palem. He went around a photo exhibition at the stadium and interacted with the members of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA).

Women cricketers Shabnam and K Anjali Sarvani met the Chief Minister at the stadium. He appreciated their efforts and asked them to continue excelling in the sport. He handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh each to the players on behalf of ACA.

On this occasion, the ACA members felicitated the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also launched the Andhra Premier League Season-2 in the stadium and interacted with Ranji players. He further proceeded to Arilova and inaugurated the Apollo Cancer Centre and examined the radiation center.

Jagan later went around with the Indian Navy officials and they briefed him about the equipment kept on display at the museum.
