Another Rs. 6.7 crores were spent on building a road from Pulivendula to Kadiri. Additionally, Rs. 22.40 crores was spent on the development of YSR RTC bus terminal.

Jagan launches states biggest bus terminal, host of projects in Pulivendula

Kadapa: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday inaugurated a host of projects in his home constituency Pulivendula. The projects included the state's biggest bus terminal. According to Jagan, the bus terminal has state-of-the-art facilities and has set a "role model" for the state.

Addressing a huge gathering, CM Jagan said, "Pulivendula bus terminal is a role model for all. In the last three-and-a-half years, a series of development happened in Pulivendula."

Speaking about the upcoming construction of a six-lane highway, he said, "We are making efforts to expand a six-lane highway from Vijayawada to Bengaluru with an investment of Rs. 13,000 crores." Jagan said with its modern facilities, Pulivendula will set an ideal precedence for all other constituencies. He added that after seeing the renewed face of the Pulivendula bus terminal, Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu, who is a staunch critic of his government, will be shocked.

During the event, Jagan inspected the bus terminal, RTC office, and passenger facilities. In order to provide additional employment opportunities, Jagan said he has launched a number of developmental activities and initiatives for industrial growth in the region.


He also inaugurated the newly-built Ahobilapuram high school, Kadiri road junction with an investment of Rs. 1.4 crores, vegetable market with an investment of Rs. 1.2 crores, YSR memorial park and Maitri layout with an investment of Rs. 4.29 crores, and Rayalapuram four-lane bridge with Rs. 8.70 crores.
