Major reshuffle in Andhra: 19 IAS officers, 2 IPS officers transferred

Amaravati: A total of 19 IAS officers and two IPS officers have been transferred and posted in Andhra Pradesh.

Here is the list:

1. G Anantha Ramu, IAS (1990), special chief secretary to the government, BC Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as the special chief secretary of the Environment, Forests, Science and Technology Department, duly relieving Neerabh Kumar Prasad, IAS (1987) from full additional charge.

2. Ram Prakash Sisodia, IAS (1991), director general, AP Human Resources Development Institute (APHRDI) has been transferred and posted as special chief secretary of the Revenue Department (Lands & DM, Registration and Stamps), duly relieving Ajay Jain, IAS (1991) from full additional charge.

3. G Jaya Lakshmi, IAS (1995), principal secretary, Department of Women, Children, Differently Abled and Senior Citizens has been transferred and posted as chief commissioner of Land Administration, duly relieving G Sai Prasad, IAS (1990) from full additional charge.

4. Kantilal Dande, IAS (1999), principal secretary of the Tribal Welfare Department has been transferred and posted as principal secretary of the Transport, Roads & Buildings Department, duly relieving PS Pradyumna, IAS (2004) from full additional charge.

5. M Girija Shankar, IAS (1999), chief commissioner of State Taxes is relieved from the full additional charge of the post of secretary to Government (CT), Finance Department. Hereafter, the post will be looked after by the principal secretary of Finance.

6. S Suresh Kumar, IAS (2000), commissioner of School Education has been transferred and posted as secretary of the Infrastructure and Investment Department duly relieving Dr N Yuvaraj, IAS (2005) from the full additional charge. The MoS is also placed in full additional charge of the post of secretary of the GVWV&VSWS Department, duly relieving Ajay Jain, IAS (1991) from full additional charge. The MoS shall continue to hold full additional charge of the post of secretary (Political), General Administration Department, until further orders.

7. Saurabh Gaur, IAS (2002), secretary to the government, Higher Education is placed in full additional charge of the post of secretary to government, ITE&C and RTGS, duly relieving Kona Sasidhar, IAS (2003) from full additional charge. The MoS shall also hold the full additional charge of the secretary, Skills Development and Training Department, until further orders.

8. The post held by Dr N Yuvaraj, IAS (2005), secretary to the government, Industries & Commerce Department is re-designated as secretary of Industries & Commerce and Food Processing. Chiranjiv Choudhary, IFS (1989) is relieved of the full additional charge of principal secretary of Food Processing.

9. K Harshavardhan, IAS (2005), secretary to the Social Welfare Department is transferred and posted as secretary to the Minorities Welfare Department.

10. P Bhaskara, IAS (2005), commissioner, Collegiate Education is transferred and posted as secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department. The MoS is also placed in full additional charge of the post of secretary to the government, Department of Economically Weaker Sections Welfare. The MoS shall continue to hold full additional charge of the post of secretary (Services & HRM) and secretary (GPM&AR), General Administration Department, until further orders.

11. K Kanna Babu, IAS (2006), commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development is transferred and posted as secretary to the Social Welfare Department. The MoS is also placed in full additional charge of the post of secretary to the government Tribal Welfare Department. The MoS shall also hold full additional charge of Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, until further orders.

12. Vadarevu Vinay Chand, IAS (2008), secretary (FP), Finance Department is transferred and posted as secretary to government (Tourism and Culture), YAT & C Department.

13. Vivek Yadav, IAS (2008), who was waiting for posting has been made the secretary to the government (Youth Services and Sports), YAT & C Department.

14. A Surya Kumari, IAS (2008), commissioner, Fisheries has been transferred and posted as secretary, Department of Women, Children, Differently Abled & Senior Citizens.

15. Dr C Sridhar, IAS (2009), Commissioner of Rehabilitation and Resettlement has been transferred and posted as Director, Industries.

16. J Nivas, IAS (2010) who was waiting for posting has been given charge as additional secretary to the government, Finance Department.

17 V Vijaya Rama Raju, IAS (2012) who was waiting for posting has been made director of School Education.

18. Himanshu Shukla, IAS (2013) who was waiting for a posting is now the director of Information and Public Relations in the existing vacancy.

19. S Dilli Rao, IAS (2013) who was waiting for posting has been made the director of Agriculture while Chevvuru Hari Kiran, IAS (2009) has been transferred.

IPS transfers

1. Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS (1992), principal secretary to the government, Home Department has been transferred and posted as director general (Vigilance and Enforcement) & E0 principal secretary, General Administration (Vigilance & Enforcement) Department.

2. Kumar Vishwajeet, IPS (1994), has been transferred and posted as principal secretary to Government, Home Department.
