BR Naidu, who was recently nominated as the new chairman of the TTD by the Andhra Pradesh government, offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy inside the Tirumala temple along with his family members.
Later, he was administered the oath of secrecy and was formally sworn in as the new chairman of the TTD.

Andhra Pradesh government constituted a new board with 24 members for the TTD body that administers the famous Balaji temple at Tirumala Tirupati. The government appointed B R Naidu as chairman of the newly constituted TTD board, while Suchitra Ella, Co-founder and MD of Bharat Biotech International Ltd is among the members
