Visakhapatnam: With low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal, there are dry winds from North India to the Telugu states.
On Thursday, the lowest temperature of 7.1 degree Celsius was recorded at Vanjangil hills. It was followed by 9.6 degree Celsius in Araku valley, 9 degree Celsius in GK Veedhi, 10 degree Celsius in Munchingput, and 11 degree Celsius in Chintapalli.
According to Andhra Pradesh Weatherman Sai Praneeth, the state will witness cold winter for the next three days. He said Vijayawada, Rayalaseema, and Godavari will experience an increase in the cold wave.
"Vizag and nearby coastal areas will have warm weather with cold nights. Agency areas are to shiver with 6-10 degree Celsius", he tweeted.
