By Newsmeter Network Published on 30 Oct 2022 10:49 AM GMTVisakhapatnam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to come for a two-day visit to Visakhapatnam on 11 November. Though his trip to the city is yet to be finalised, a plan for his visit is being prepared.
This will be Mr. Modi's first visit to Visakhapatnam after he became the Prime Minister for the second time. He last visited the city in 2019.
Mr. Modi will launch the Rs. 400 crores construction works for the redevelopment of the Visakhapatnam railway station. He will commission the modernisation and expansion project of Visakha Refinery, green campus at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Visakhapatnam, and the HPCL expansion project worth Rs. 26,000 crores.
The PM will lay the foundation stone for several sanctioned projects in the port city, including the new office complex of the sanctioned South Coast Rail Zone which has its headquarters in Visakhapatnam, 400-bed ESI Hospital coming up with Rs. 385 crores, and a modern, mega fishing harbour.
