Motorbike explodes near Anantapur temple, no casualties

Anantapur: A Bullet bike exploded near Kasapuram Anjaneya Swamy Temple in the Guntakal mandal of the Anantapur district creating panic among locals.

The motorbike was parked in front of the temple when its tank exploded into flames. According to sources, Ravi Chandra from Mysore was visiting the Nettikanti Anjaneya Swami temple for Ugadi. He came on a motorbike from Mysore to Kasapuram, travelling around 471.1 km, probably without stopping anywhere.

When the motorbike stopped in Kasapuram, a fire started and within seconds, the petrol tank exploded. Locals immediately doused the fire with water. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The reason for the sudden fire is yet to be ascertained.
