Naidu a coward who could not face trial in Amaravati land scam: Nani
Mr. Naidu was a coward who could not face trial and has a record of getting stay orders in over 30 cases, said Nani
By Newsmeter Network Published on 21 March 2021 7:10 AM GMTVijayawada: The minister for civil supplies, Kodali Venkateswararao (Nani), on 20 March called TDP supremo and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu a coward for not facing the probe but running to the High Court to get stay over the proceedings of the CID probe into the Amaravati assigned lands case.
Addressing the media here on Saturday, he said that Mr. Naidu was a coward who could not face trial and has a record of getting stay orders in over 30 cases. However, he will be punished in public courts, the minister said, adding that the people had delivered a decisive verdict by defeating TDP in the 2019 general elections and the recent local body polls. "People will further confine Chandrababu to his house by voting for YSRCP in the ZPTC and MPTC elections and the Tirupati by-election," he said.
He also flayed Nara Lokesh for politicizing the Visakha Steel Plant issue and blaming Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy even though it is not under the state government's purview. Nani dared him to go and protest in Delhi and speak with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ask him to stop the privatization of VSP. The minister assured that the state government will support the employees' protest against privatization.
