NIA fears came true: Vizag missing nursing student Radha joins Maoists, releases letter
Radha said that she is 20 and mature enough to decide things on her own. She stated that the NIA is filing false cases against the members of CMS.

Radha released a letter saying that she has `voluntarily' joined the Maoist group. This follows National Investigation Agency (NIA) raids on Maoist leaders' houses in both the Telugu states to trace Radha.
NIA team conducted searches at Ranga Reddy, Medak, and Secunderabad. , Three people were arrested, and incriminating materials including digital devices were seized during raids It is reported that Radha has joined the Maoist group and is working with the top brass.
"NIA is harassing the members of Chaitanya Mahila Sangham (CMS. They claim that I was missing. Firstly, I'm not a medical student, but a lab technician. I had initially joined CMS to fight for women's rights. I am influenced by Maoist ideology and therefore, I voluntarily joined the CPI (Maoist) group", Radha said in the letter.

It was on January 3, 2022, Pallepati Pochamma, a resident of Kapra in Hyderabad lodged a complaint with Pedabayalu police station in Visakhapatnam district (now Alluri Sitarama Raju district) of Andhra Pradesh claiming that her daughter Radha was kidnapped three years ago by the leaders and activist of CMS. She alleged that Radha was brainwashed by these leaders and was shifted to the Pedabayalu. She also mentioned that the leaders of the CMS Dongari Devendra, Dubasi Swapna, and Chukka Shilpa were visiting her daughter's college.
