No progress in AP, says Chandrababu Naidu in a roadshow at Adoni

Adoni: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president and former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, completely blocked the progress of the State.

Addressing a roadshow at Adoni as part of his program on Thursday, Mr. Naidu said that the people have now realized their mistake of electing Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy to power. "There is absolutely no progress in the State in the past three-and-half years while rowdyism and crime are on the rise," he added.

The TDP president expressed surprise at a whole family attempting suicide after the family members were threatened by a police constable. Two members of that family died and asked as to why the law and order system has been reduced to such a low level. Mr Naidu made it clear that 'fear psychosis' is being encouraged by the CM but they can hardly threaten him.

"What will happen if the TDP cadre retaliates and the police should seriously think about this," Mr Chandrababu observed. Why the police officials are keeping silent when local YSRCP activists are resorting to attacks on the TDP leaders in Kurnool district? Are the police officials not getting their salaries on time? he asked

Mr. Naidu said that the YSRCP Government is imposing taxes even on toilets. He alleged that liquor mafia is ruling Andhra Pradesh.

Stating that there is no State in the country which has three capitals, Mr Chandrababu asked the public whether they want three capitals or a single capital? The response received from the people was - only one capital.

The former chief minister pointed out that when the Jana Sena chief, Mr Pawan Kalyan, visited Visakhapatnam, the local leaders and the administration created a lot of trouble for him. He alleged that CID officials were unnecessarily harassing innocent persons.
