Notification on new AP districts will be released soon: Sajjala
Mr. Sajjala said the Chief Minister will form a Cabinet to bring justice to all sections of the society
By Newsmeter Network Published on 2 April 2022 11:27 AM GMTAmaravati: Work on the reorganisation of new districts has been completed and a notification related to the formation of the districts will be announced soon, said Andhra Pradesh government adviser Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. He said that the formation of new districts would be a historical event and steps are being taken towards decentralisation in line with the pre-election promise.
It may be noted that 13 new districts will be formed in the state on 4 April.
According to Mr. Sajjala, districts were formed in accordance with the public interest and taking their representations. The final notification with minor changes will be released soon. "Ninety per cent of the buildings set up in the new districts belong to the government," he said and added that the district administration and the police will work in one place. He further said that as per the directions of Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy, permanent buildings for the new districts will be constructed by 2023.
On the AP Cabinet reshuffle, Mr. Sajjala said the Chief Minister will form a Cabinet to bring justice to all sections of the society. There will be changes in the Cabinet to give more considerable scope to BCs, SCs, and STs, he added.
