East Godavari: Two Spain-born olive trees were sent to the CMD of Reliance Group Mukesh Ambani's new house in Jamnagar in Gujarat from Gowthami Nursery at Kadiyam in East Godavari district. The international business tycoon Mukesh Ambani had ordered two olive trees and spent Rs. 47 lakh on each tree because having olive trees in the house premises is considered prosperous and good for all. The trees are said to have a long lifespan of more than six to seven decades.

M. Veera Babu of Gowthami Nursery said they procured the olive trees from Spain in a special container a few years ago. They had been growing the plants in the nursery for years with much care. Reliance Group purchased two trees from the Nursery by paying a whooping of Rs. 44 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh for transport. The two olive trees will add beauty to Mukesh Ambani's new residence at Jamnagar in Gujarat, Veera Babu added.

"We took special care for the olive trees by adding the Godavari area soil and water. The trees grew very well and fetched a good price. Both trees were sent in a special trawler truck from Kadiyam to Jamnagar. The truck will travel at a speed of 30kmph and reach Jamnagar by 29 November," said Veera Babu.
